The MAXTENSOR® MX1-WP end of line tensioner is especially designed to secure and tighten wire line terminations. It is equipped with a single borehole, which, along with its special design, offers an excellent and optimal solution for connecting wires to farm and livestock fencing trellises and corner posts.

The internal mechanism of the MAXTENSOR® MX1-WP end of line tensioner enables the wire to advance freely in the direction of the arrow and blocks immediately on pulling in the opposite direction.

It is designed to protect the wire, avoiding rubbing against the sharp edges of the metal posts.

Safety first

MAXTENSOR® terminators and tensioners are safe. They have a practical borehole to protect the wire end. Thus, preventing scratches or pricks.

Tensioning of wire

Easy to install: up to 70% faster than traditional joining systems.
The terminators and tensioners attached to a post or perforated anchor element, enabling subsequent cable tensioning using MAXTENSOR® MX-AC and MX-FV tensioning tools.
The internal mechanism of the terminator and tensioner enables free passage of wire in the direction of the arrow, and it is blocked immediately when it is pulled in the opposite direction.
Leave a minimum length of 10 cm from the free end of the wire to the outlet hole of the tensioner (see image)..

When planning the installation with Maxtensor® connectors and tensioners, you must take into account the following tips for use.

The range of connectors and wire tensioners are usable with many of the wires for agricultural use on trellises, fences, or support wires. Given the variety of types of wire existing in the market, it is recommended to consult the technical department of Maxtensor Internacional S.L. on which would be the most suitable product depending on the application and the type of wire used.
Do not use the product outside the recommended range of diameters.
Do not exceed the load limit of any product.
The indicated load limit is a static load value, and depends on the type of wire and diameter used. If you think that the product will be subject to high loads, use wire diameters close to the maximum value of the range indicated on the product. In case of doubt, it is recommended to consult the technical department of Maxtensor Internacional S.L. on which would be the most suitable product depending on the application and the type of wire used.
It should be taken into account that the dynamic loads produced by the wind, impacts, vibrations, can significantly increase the service loads on the wire affecting the operation of the product.
It should be taken into account that dirt, chemicals and insects, among others inside the product, can jeopardize the proper functioning of the device.
Leave a minimum length of 10 cm from the free end of the wire to the outlet hole of the product.
Secure free ends of excess wire.
Check the installation status regularly.
